Aarenet announced that it has participated in the Yangon 2014 Unified Communications seminar in conjunction with other leading Telecom equipment vendors such as Patton and LifeSize. This event took place at the Yangon Hotel on August 6th, 2014 and attracted personnel from both the Enterprise and Carrier sectors.

“We fully believe that it is the right time to commit our resource and effort to build a strong branding for Aarenet in Myanmar.  We will also work closely with our Systems Partner Yadanarbon Fiber Services (YDF) to transfer knowledge by conducting sales and technical certification training events in Myanmar to ensure the utmost professional approach when supporting our local Customers” says Mr. Felix Jakob – Aarenet CEO.

Mr. Bao Vo – APAC Regional Director presented Aarenet’s carrier class Virtual PBX and Fixed Mobile Convergence solutions covering the Messaging, Mobility and Call Control verticals of Unified Communications.  It was well received by MPT personnel and IT Managers from leading Banks in Myanmar.  The success from this seminar has led to a number of customer trial requests for Aarenet and Yadanarbon Fiber Services.

“This event was a great success and on behalf of Aarenet’s Management team, I wish to extend our sincere appreciation to YDF team for a job well done.  It was clear that both businesses and service providers in Myanmar are working diligently to modernise their telecommunications infrastructure to meet growing demands of Myanmar’s thriving economy.  This creates tremendous opportunities for both Aarenet and YDF.” says Mr. Bao Vo.  Mr. Tay Za Tun – YDF Director also added “Our Company has been laying thousands of kilometres of Fibre infrastructure for services providers, enterprises and multi-national companies in Myanmar - these Customers are perfect prospects for the UC deployment as their infrastructure are ready to host such high-bandwidth demanding applications such as voice and video conferencing.  We are pleased with our future prospects and keen to work with our Technology Partner such as Aarenet to realise our goals and objectives.”

During the next few weeks, Aarenet APAC team will be working closely with YDF team in Myanmar to follow up with all the participants of our UC seminar to answer any question that they may have and plan for specific customer trials.  We will also be planning for the next marketing event in Myanmar which will take place in late Q4 of this calendar year.
